"This memoir isn't inspiring so much as grounding and humbling … Keziah does not shy away from talking about her own thoughts and struggles as she worked through the perceptions that she had about herself and the world around her … I really appreciate the work that Keziah does in her memoir … It aids in helping us to view ourselves and everyone else around us in a different light."

“…so neither ought you to attempt to cure the body without the soul; and this is the reason why the cure of many diseases is unknown to the physicians because they are ignorant of the whole, which ought to be studied also; for the part can never be well unless the whole is well.”
Plato, Charmides, c. 399-387 B.C.

Adversity can arise in many ways; you don't need an illness to get something fundamental from Yvonne’s story.
